The property is very close to town, within walking distance, however, you feel like you are in the forest and in nature. The property is on the same road as the lake and is the closest property to the lake, only a couple of minutes' walk. There are bushwalking tracks everywhere and bike tracks, however, you will feel in your own little sanctuary.  There are two park-style outdoor barbecues and every room has a kitchenette.

Eastern Hill is owned by the same owners as Farmers Arms Hotel in Creswick (recently voted one of Victoria's best pubs).
